Nic Nicholls is Director Intelligence responsible for the collection and exploitation of intelligence and data to generate strategic intelligence assessment and operational intelligence for the purpose of identifying and disrupting serious and organised crime (SOC). The Intelligence Command comprises c.2,000 officers deployed across the UK and internationally.
Nic joined the NCA in January 2018 as Deputy Director National Intelligence Hub, a post she held for five years until April 2023 when she moved across to Intelligence Futures. In May 2023, she was promoted to T/Director Intelligence.
Prior to joining the Agency, Nic was an Intelligence Corps officer in the British Army deploying operationally to Northern Ireland, the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. She was awarded the MBE for services to Human Intelligence
(HUMINT) and is a graduate of the Advanced Command and Staff Course.
