The operational support function provides effective support, logistics coordination, stock management, project management, policy development, administration and governance to operations, corporate and central services functions and contributes towards the achievement of the National Crime Agency (NCA) strategic objectives.

Roles based in London will receive an additional London Weighting of £3,847. Recruitment and Retention Allowance: This is currently set at £1,000 for this post. The RRA is an enhancement to the role and is reviewed annually.

The UK Financial Intelligence Unit's Engagement Teams are responsible for engaging, supporting, and educating on the effective submission and use of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
Engagement Officers work with law enforcement partners and private sector organisations across the UK to improve understanding of the SARs regime and increase the effective use of SARs as a vital source of intelligence in any investigation. As an Engagement Officer in the UKFIU you will work to improve the quality of SARs being submitted and their exploitation by law enforcement, and play a key role in continuing to make the UK a hostile place for money launderers.
The Reporter Engagement and SARs Exploitation Teams form part of the UKFIU’s overall engagement function, which also includes a Digital Media Publications team. Officers in the SARs Exploitation Team work with law enforcement partners across the UK to increase the effective use of SARs as a vital source of intelligence in any investigation, while officers in the Reporter Engagement Team work with reporters across the private sector to increase their understanding of the SARs regime and improve the quality of the SARs they submit.
There are roles available in both the SARs Exploitation Team and the Reporter Engagement Team and applicants from a range of backgrounds are encouraged to apply. However, successful applicants with a law enforcement background are likely to be placed in the SARs Exploitation Team. Engagements in both teams range from providing 1-2-1 guidance and support direct to law enforcement partners and reporters, to delivering presentations and training to a wide range of audiences or speaking at external conferences and other events.
The NCA has a wide remit and we are looking for committed individuals to join us in a Business Support capacity, to provide vital administrative and professional expertise across all departments in the NCA.
There are business support roles within our operational and capabilities(non-operational) functions.
The Business Support role is a great way to explore an area of business that you are most interested in and develop yourself further in those aspects and become a Single Point of Contact for them, becoming experts within the designated business. As a Senior Business Support Manager you could be assigned to any one of our operational directorates and you will be given an opportunity to provide any preference of directorate you may have as part of the application process.

This is a senior leadership role within the NCA, leading on HR Delivery Services, comprising of Strategic Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Candidate Engagement, Pre-Employment Checks and Learning and Development.
The Deputy Director HR Delivery Services will be leading and driving the operational performance and service excellence of the employee lifecycle, ensuring it is delivered with accuracy and in line with agreed standards.
The role will be line managed by Director HR, and will work closely with the Deputy Director HR and Deputy Director, Integrated Protective Services.
The role will work with key customers across the Agency (hiring managers, candidates); external stakeholders (including partners across law enforcement, Civil Service Commission, Government People Group) and lead internal teams in HR.
