Specialist operations within NCA HUMINT includes G4 Advanced Undercover Officers and dual function G4 UCA/Cover officers who deploy as undercover operatives against a broad spectrum of serious and organised criminality, on authorised tasked activity.

We are now expanding Specialist Operations to include G5 Undercover Officers (Foundation) - UCFs - to undertake deployments in line with Authorised Professional Practice and to augment the NCA's UCA capability.

Undercover Officers will deploy as a foundation level undercover officer in support of the NCA and domestic and international partners, authorised projects and operations.

Through covert deployments, UCFs will enable the NCA and partners to maximise the collection of opportunities that are in line with the organisational intelligence and evidential requirements to support operations into complex and serious and organised crime at both national and international level.
