This is a high-profile role that directly supports the NCA’s senior leadership team, providing unequalled opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the Agency and influence Government policy.

The role requires a good sense of judgement and the ability to work flexibly in a team. You will need to be able to quickly grasp and assess complex and often sensitive issues, communicating them effectively through written briefings. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and need to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities. You will also need to work closely and collaboratively with the Directors General, Directors, Deputy Directors, and their Private Offices.

The role will require the highest level of personal integrity, flexibility and discretion and presents the opportunity to gain experience of, and insight into, key strategic domestic and international issues affecting the UK.
