A 25-year-old man from Dalkeith, Midlothian, has been charged with attempting to import a controlled drug, as part of an investigation by the National Crime Agency.
His arrest followed the seizure by Border Force of two postal parcels containing Methylone, a class B drug, with an estimated street value of around £20,000.
NCA officers executed a warrant on Friday 13 December and detained the man. He was later charged and appeared before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday 16 December.
A man and a woman detained at the same address were released pending further enquiries.
